1. Cause: habituation
Solution:
ride your bike at least 1 time every 2 weeks, or even once a week
Alternative: soft saddle (to recommend attention Only with short distances)
2. Cause: if the saddle is too soft and the ride is normaly longer than 30 minutes
Solution: harder saddle
3. Cause: saddleddesign does not fit to the anatomy of your body
Solution: arched saddles often cause a feeling which is described like pushing your bones to the side – in addition, pressure originates in the sensitive damm area (see picture)
Rule: Pressure = strength ÷ surface
Pressure = pain the causing size which should be as low as possible
By virtue of = by body weight and gravitation given size
Surface = usable edition surface of the saddle and the driver
Notices: The bigger the surface the smaller the pressure. Hence, an advantage already originates from this physical law for the SQlab step saddle draught: The surface must not be reduced – like with other ergonomic saddles – by holes or cuttings contraproductively.
